Owner and Innkeeper Vikki Woods offers a spacious lodge with large guest rooms, luxurious private bathrooms and spaces inside and out for guests to meet or find privacy. "Set atop the ridge, the Lodge is at the back of 141 acres with the Cherokee National Forest behind it, rising another 2000' up to the Iron Mountain Trail section of the Appalachian Trail. "
|
There are a variety of accommodations available. The lodge offers 4 large rooms. Nearby, the Creekside Chalet, described as a "modern log cabin" offers a private retreat for groups or families. You may make arrangements to bring your pet here and Woods keeps the chalet stocked with the basics including linens, robes, coffee, tea, flour, sugar, cereal and condiments.

The Cottage on the Lake offers three bedrooms and three bathrooms and accommodates up to six people sleeping in comfort. It has a gently sloping yard which leads down to Watauga Lake. You can rent a boat at a nearby marina.

A three course breakfast is included with your stay at the lodge. With notice, Woods can provide a special dinner for guests and she has many local eateries to recommend if you prefer to venture out.
